Windows over Linux

Windows and Linux, let's hear what i have to say and what they have to say.

“All the best things are free”, says Linux.
You can use Linux without spending any dime because its a free software! Windows is a totally different story, you need to burn cash upon choosing it. It's very dynamic, in a matter of three months or years and in order to cope up with changes in the office, school or computer shops you need to buy and install the latest version!

“Are we compatible?” asked Linux.
Linux is still new in the business and although its for free many still preferred Windows over Linux OS. The reason? Windows is the pioneer in their field and has the largest number of users thus many people developed programs suited for Windows and these programs sometimes doesn't have any counterpart on Linux.

“I'm no loneger secured in this world, many wants to destroy me!” exclaimed Windows.
Yes, Windows has the largest users and it's also has the most number of computer virus. And when you have that kind of danger lingering, you need to have anti-virus softwares installed in your PC and when you need to have anti-virus softwares you need to have money, where we all lack of(sometimes or most of the time?). Since Linux is a bit 'young' and 'fresh' no virus has yet been made.

“Yes, vulnerable I am, I just an OS wanting to do all things at the same time, but I can't, I realy can't.” - Windows
Looking for a software where you can print your Sci-paper while downloading stuffs and stalking your crush on the Internet? Well Windows is not for you, Linux is. You can do things simultaneously in Linux in Windows things will start to get slow because it can't process all the things you want to do. Plus, Linux can handle large number of users simultaneously!

“Am I boring?” asked Windows.
Are you bored with that dull desktop you have? If yes is your answer, you're not the only one. Linux offers freedom especially when modifying desktops and when controlling almost every aspects of your OS, Windows on the other hand don't but if you're going for the traditonal look you can go for Windows.

Out of nowhere Linux said “sorry, I'm very complx and very hard to understand, bear with me and you'll see the beauty in me.”
Windows is a 'user-frinedly' OS because its been around and well-developed. Our lolos and lolas can even use the computers run by Windows because th ecommands and programs is very easy to understand. I believe computer enthusiasts prefer Linux over Windows because you can explore more in it.

At the end Windows won't triumph over Linux as to Linux won't overcome what Windows has done. This will all go down to how you use it, because it doesn't matter what your OS is, what matters is you use it wisely and productively. ;)

Hey I'm 17 and I'm NOT Ashamed of It

Who said Disney movies are for kids? Hey I'm 17 years old and I'm not ashamed to say that I love watching Disney movies especially when I'm down and tired LOL! Anyway, let me share my top 10 all-time favorite Disney movies, feel free to protest, react or just simply agree with my list. :)

10. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, 2010

In our dorm my roommates talked about Tinker Bell and how good the movies were but I'm a bit skeptic and  not sure if Tinker Bell movies can satisfy my standards of animated movies. They suggested to watch the third film, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, and to my surprise I kinda love the movie!

9. The Lion King, 1994

Can you feel the love tonight? LOL! Simba proved that not all tough is tough in the inside.

8. Cinderella, 1950
My niece loves this movie so much that even I was dragged to watch this on TV! Who can go wrong with this classic? The ever-infamous Step Mother to Step Sisters and the ever syndicated Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming you really gotta love(RGL) this movie!

7. Peter Pan, 1953
The boy who never gets old, ahhh. What would you be thinking if Tinker is here on the list and Peter Pan is not? I gotta give props to Disney for justifying my all-time favorite bed time story!

6. Mulan, 1998

At long last, an Asian Disney Character! This movie, based from the legend of Hua Mulan, was very heart-felt and very realistic, except of course the talking dragon, it never fails to make sing-a-long with the songs. A plus factor why Mulan is on my list because Lea Salonga sang in the movie, go Pinoy!

And for my top Five,

5. Beauty and the Beast, 1994

Watch the ballroom scene and for sure you too will love this movie.

4. Monsters, Inc. 2001
This movie defied the word MONSTERS. Who can forget the cute 2-year-old girl Boo? How about the one-eyed crooning monster Mike Wazowski? Or the big blue furry but kind-hearted Sully Sullivan?

3. Up, 2009

Love the film, love the lesson and okay I admit it, I almost cried.

2. Toy Story, 1995

To infinity and beyond 'nuff said.

1. Aladdin, 1992
Every one of us wants to have their own Genie, especially if all genies are like Genie in Aladdin. I love every aspect of the film, from the setting,to the villain and the songs. I love A Whole New World, and because of this song, I decided to put this film on number One.

What I really love about Disney films is that watching these will make you feel like a child again, free from troubles and free from people saying that dreams are not real.
